Ciara Album Pushed Back...preps For International Release

Ciara is currently in the studio finishing her third studio album Fantasy Ride, which will consist of three discs packaged together. Rap-Up.com has learned that the singer is collaborating with Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, T-Pain, and Lil Jon, among others. The conceptual album is now slated for a November release.
The first single will impact radio in July and an accompanying video will be out by August. While the lead single is rumored to be “High Price” featuring Ludacris, sources at LaFace Records tell Rap-Up.com that Ciara has decided to go in a different direction.
Confirmed song titles include “High Price” (Tricky Stewart), “Work” (Danja), “Echo” (Danja), and “When I” (Champ Champ).
I'm told November is the only month in the 4th quarter that will allow a release internationally. Last album they wanted to release in September 06 but ended up pushing back to December 06 and didn't release in the UK until the following April. They do not want to make that mistake again. And I guess High Price is not set in stone. The reception was kind of 50/50
I guess I can understand because they want this album to be huge. As I said before this will be her true breakthrough album that will put her where she needs to be. I know after "The Evolution" only sold 1.5 Million they are ready to push this album for real.
who knows why people like outkast, the fugees, and others take years to finally get the recognition they deserve. i don't even think aaliyah was where she was suppose to be as far as success. she was never even recognized by the grammys. i think ciara is in a good place. chris brown is more popular than her but she still sells more so....
i think it's harder when you stick to urban roots..harder or longer. but the most important thing is that they got there.
anyone's album can fail the list goes on, and some come back like nelly fertado and mariah...it's about coming back again. ciara is ciara...and i'm not worried about her failing. i know she'll do her best work.
I like some Ciara. She has potential. And I it's a beautiful song.
out of all her songs you choose that one lol. I like Ciara but she got kinda boring ... maybe its cuz her last album died so quickly idk...Goodies was f*cking amazing though! I hope her next album is that part 2 cuz Evolution was kinda bad :-/
Nothing was wrong with that song, it's actually one of my favorites from her. But it's not exactly the song to release after three club bangers, Ciara's ballad singles don't actually do the best on the charts.
