She is also appearing on Ellen on 7th August to promote her new single 'Better In Time'

I think Spirit can nab 3xPlatinum out of RIAA by the end of this year.

With these, and putting into consideration her decreasing sales, she will actually reach 1 million in around 3 months, which would be sometime in September probably, but I think she could earlier if "Better In Time" helps album sales. Then, hopefully sales will remain consistent up until the holiday season, and if they do, I'd say she could go 2x Platinum by the end of the year possibly, and maybe 3x Platinum later on.

Yeahh I was thinking 2x Platinum is more achievable, she has already sold 800,000+ on one single!

Yeah, I was actually thinking that too, but then again, Leona was known in Britain for a long while due to the X-Factor, whereas in America, she has burst onto the scene without most people knowing who she was. I mean, if you really think about it, her chances of winning the Best New Artist award are really high, the only other huge competition I can think of her having is Jordin Sparks.

I'm happy for her, but the album is not something I would want to listen to over and over again

And i will be damn happy if Leona or Jordin got the BNA awards. Still pissed at it this year, since Daughtry did not even get a nomination for that BNA award.

I was almost going to put that in my post, but then I thought that would be ridiculous since they're releasing their 3rd album. That would be completely unfair if they were nominated.

I think Leona winning a Grammy would be so funny, it would be two-fingers to the Brit Award panel
