Her label Casper Records is set to release her new album "I Am Legend" in June. The upcoming record is said to ft her brother, Janet with special appearances from Mariah Carey, Madonna, Rihanna and more! The hitmaker released a statement:
"I am so ****ing excited. It's my first record since my dear brother Michael passed so it is extremely close to my heart. I wrote the lyrics myself. I poured all the grief and pain into it so it is definitely personal and I know billions of fans worldwide will relate."
When asked about the explosion of female pop in the last 2 years:
"I think it's cute that the young girls have been warming my throne whilst I've been on a pilgrimage. I see my 90s competitors are still Lost In Translation though teeheehee. Janet the janitor was cleaning my floors the other day but I thought I'd ask her to join me in the studio during her 10 second break. Mariah, bless her, took time out of her Alcoholics Anonymous meetings to do a duet. Also we managed to invent a new innovative technology that extracted Madonnas vocals from her tomb in Malawi for the epic LaToyogue. There's no competition now - the album shows why I'm better than them."
When asked about Celine and Whitney:
"I'm not really after a French album. As for Whitney - unfortunately we never got to work together. She passed away before we could get into the studio but I did a gospel medley in her memory"
