Today is Holocaust Memorial Day, a day which observed as Israel's day of commemoration for the approximately six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust as a result of the actions carried out by Nazi Germany and its accessories, and for the Jewish resistance in that period.
6 millions pepole from all ages icluding old pepole and innocent babies were brootaly murderd, shoted, buried alive, burned in showers and in more hideous unhuman ways.
They were killed because Hitler thought the jewish pepole were a race that is sick and harmful to the human race, he thought that they didnt desreve a country of their own and decided to destroy them all.
Jews in israel are still threatend, by arab countries and suffuring from anti-Semitism for just wanting to live in their own little country (israel is the smallest country in the world).
Here's hoping jews in israel will live quitely after so many years and wont ever again go through such a harsh war. RIP to the 6 millions who got murderd.
also, Jews weren't the only victims of the holocaust. Black people, homosexuals, cripples and disabled people suffered as well. It's really sad, a lot of people didn't fit into Hitler's vision of the perfect Arian race. I went to the holocaust museum in Washington D.C. last summer and it was... distilling to say the least. so many people and when you get to the part where they talk about children in the holocaust it's just so heartbreaking. The whole thing definitely makes you uncomfortable but everyone seriously just needs to know.

Well in the first place they and the British kicked a bunch of Arabs off their land and still continue to take Arab property and demolish Arab homes to make way for new Jewish settlements.
I visited the Holocaust memorial in Berlin last year, which was absolutely breath taking. It's important to remember the black pages of history like the holocaust to prevent them from happening again.

What kind of iggnorant you are? Arabs wanted their own county but the jews got israel and its not their fault they got their own JWEISH land, they should live in their places and accept that and stop the terorism first, israelis just fire back.
You guys should really watch interviews of death camp survivors - they're very interesting to listen to. There are about 100,000 Holocaust survivors living in Israel today, and every year 1,000 pass away. In 16 years there will be no more living survivors.
