"There Goes Gravity: A Life in Rock and Roll " by Vanity Fair music editor Lisa Robinson
Robinson describes Lady Gaga as a gifted singer and musician who's connected to her audience, unlike Madonna, whom Robinson calls driven, humorless and lacking passion.
Madonna cursed at her fans, yelled at them for forgetting her lyrics and called them fat at her last tour while Gaga told her fans they were beautiful and were superstars. So, the journalist isn't lying.
I can understand her reasoning if we base it on acoustic versions of their songs. GaGa with nothing but a mic and piano is quite a powerful combination.
Driven and lacks of passion? Is he trying to make any sense?

Madonna really has no vocal talent, whereas Gaga has a very unique and strong voice, so I don't really see any lies in this statement. I can't see a whole lot of drive or passion from Madonna as far as her music career goes. You can see more of that with Gaga, though.
