The movie got pretty bad reviews, but most reviewers seem to be positive about Nicki's small role in the movie. All of these reviews are counted on Rotten Tomatoes.

As Carly’s tough-love assistant, Nicki Minaj is a scene-stealer in her first on-screen role; her performance is one of the film’s few consistent pleasures.
The best line in the movie is a remark by Nicki Minaj, making her live-action big-screen debut as Carly’s sassy office assistant, Lydia: “Selfish people live forever.
For eight weeks he is thoughtful, attentive, and so hot that she has “cleared the bench” of other guys, she explains to a criminally underused Nicki Minaj as her secretary. (The movie I’d like to see is Nicki Minaj going after a man who cheated on her.)
Carly, in contrast, is a classy attorney at the top of her game. She is smart enough to keep the sassy Lydia as her secretary, a scene-stealing Nicki Minaj essentially playing a Nicki Minaj knockoff.
Singer Minaj also is a neophyte actress, and cast here as a character – Carly’s assistant – written as so “fierce” she borders on cartoon. But Minaj is funny and charismatic.
Kate soon enough realizes what's going on and turns up, with her Great Dane in tow, at Carly's office (where Nicki Minaj makes excellent use of her few minutes as Carly's assistant).
All that’s left is Carly and her companion in complaining, a surly secretary played with undeniable pluck by singer Nicki Minaj. Indeed, Diaz seems more at home harrumphing with Ms. Pink Friday than with the rest of the performers she’s paired with.
As often happens in subpar comedies, the sidekicks are the best characters. Nicki Minaj is amusing as Carly’s cynical assistant, and Don Johnson is delightful as her Lothario dad Frank.
Diaz graciously plays straight woman to Mann and she's funny when the script lets her be, as is singer Nicki Minaj as Diaz's straight-talking assistant.
The Other Woman even gets the comic cliches right. Don Johnson gets a few laughs as Carly’s louche father, and Nicki Minaj brings a snappy vibe to the role of Sassy Black Assistant.
But there's also a winning element of surrealism, exemplified by the bizarre presence of Nicki Minaj as Carly's secretary, spouting aphorisms like "Selfish people live longer".
And the supporting cast—including Taylor Kinney as Kate's affable brother and Nicki Minaj as Carly's secretary (deploying a rich Queens honk)–bring added kick to the proceedings.
That's good for Nicki. It would be interesting to see her in a lead role, playing a character no one saw coming from her. Didn't she go to school for acting? I can't remember
