Madonna has been busy being both sexist and homophobic. In what should have been a relatively inoffensive word association game published on Buzzfeed, the superstar was asked to give her opinion on a number of subjects from Crocs to Instagram.
When presented with the word kale, she responded “gay”, presumably to indicate that she doesn’t like the leafy superfood. She was quickly criticised by Buzzfeed users, one of whom commented:
“I am surprised she is using the word ‘gay’ as an insult. I thought she was more sensitive than that.”
Another added: “Madonna is as culturally sensitive as a bull in a china shop. Really. She puts her foot in her mouth constantly.”
She also applied the word “gay” to Vladmir Putin, most probably in relation to the Russian Prime Minister’s anti-gay views, but it’s difficult to know for sure.

Was she wrong for using gay as an insult? I am confused as to why she would substitute the word gross with gay, i thought we were past that by now.
Please. She was being ironic.
