It’s happening, hurrah! Marvel have today announced the news that Greg Pak and Victor Ibanez will be the creative team for a Storm ongoing series. Starting this July, the series will see the character take off around the world on a one-woman peacekeeping mission. Storm will become the first black superheroine to get her own solo book, making history.
Storm has had 3 mini series in the past but now she will get her own full solo ongoing book, written by Greg Pak.
The first issue will be released July, 23rd of 2014.
Though nothing on the ongoing series has been revealed, this is a great day for Storm fans, Marvel fans & comicbook fans period.
One of the most iconic superheroes of all time getting her long overdue shine.

Why bother at this point? The art direction sucks and so do the comic writers. She deserves to be retired like the legend she is and only revived if someone with Jack Kirby's level of skill manages to come along.
