It's not ugly per se, but I hate that they're trying to look more like Facebook. There's a reason why Facebook is dropping in activity. Why would you want to replicate it?

Twitter usually rolls out interface changes on web first before porting it over to mobile shortly thereafter. That's what happened last time they changed the interface.
