It was extremely sad, frightening and traumatizing for me because I did not expect that at all. My parents and I even heard the "BOOM" as she fell on the roof of the 1st floor, since the Eiffel Tower isn't straight. An american woman in front of me had a panic attack and started to hyperventilate, so she fell down and laid on the floor. So yeah, that's the most terrifying thing I ever saw.

Lord...
September 11th 2001 for me.
I lived in Jersey City at the time which is directly over the hudson river across from downtown Manhattan where the towers were. We basically front row seats and my mom was working in Manhattan at the time, where she was trapped till later that night due to bridges/tunnels connecting NY/NJ being closed. I just remember crying all day.
