I always see everything mentioned in Eastern time, regardless of where I am, or where people live. While there have been attempts to overtake the throne, they have failed miserably. Is the Eastern time zone the timezone you long to eat an ice cream cone with, or do you have another time zone that you want to be your best friend?

YES. Most of the major live events on network TV always airs on the east coast first.
