I wanted to open this thread a week ago but I was too lazy. "Palace" is a gorgeous song but the album is such a snoozefest. To be honest, I'm glad this leaked this early because they gave me a feeling that Familiars will be good but I have no idea what happened to them. Too much piano and familiar sounds isn't working for me.

It's not bad, but so far only Palace, Director, and Parade have caught my attention. I'll need to spend some time with it.

It's a common thing that indie albums leak weeks, sometimes months in advance.

I've never heard of that trend before.
