It all started when i was listening to "In The Ayer" & started dancing in the mirror like an ass
And then i thought to myself it would be pretty cool to make my own music video...
So0...i though what if all of ATRL was to dance to the same song...film themselves and someone like myself edit it into a music video?
I think it would be awesome
What do you guys think of this idea?
1) Song is chosen
2) The time of the song is split into different parts
3) Each participant picks the part they want, films it and uploads it.
4) video is stitched together in order by the time labels

I mean like hard in the since that there is a lot of people here on ATRL if we did get most of them to do this people would be on there for like 3 seconds not enough to do 3 still robot moves or something
i actually thought it would be better if they danced to the whole (or most of) the song that way i can have fully creative ability with no missing pieces.

The only issue that i have with it is how all the videos would get to me.... but I'm sure Athens has a trick up his sleeve to make it easier lol.

I wasn't sure if you wanted to deal with all that video but yeah, your method is much better.
There isn't really any shortcuts around getting the video. Participants would have to upload it to rapidshare or box.net, and send you the link via PMs or email, so it remains a surprise until you're done with the final.
What video editor are you planning to use? Premiere?
