Singer-songwriter Jesse McCartney has revealed that he wants to duet with Leona Lewis.
McCartney, who co-wrote the singer’s number one smash ‘Bleeding Love’, told DS that he’s already pursuing the X Factor star.
“I’ve tried to get my people talking to her people because I’d love to do something with her as a duet. I think we could do something pretty fresh,” he said.
“People have seen the ballad side of her and they know that she can sing, so I think she needs something a little more rhythmic and fun now.”
McCartney also revealed that he’s working on material for other female pop singers, saying: “I’m hoping to write stuff for some of the divas actually. I’d love to write for Mariah, but we’ll see how it goes.”
I find it kind of weird that Jesse wants to do a duet, especially with her.
It just doesn't seem like him. Someone mentioned in the fan webcam show the other month about a duet with Jonna Brothers and he didn't even really answer the question, more like avoided it. But he did say they were talented boys.
If this is true, which I don't think it is, I hope he manages to get a good hit out of this with Leona Lewis. But I could be wrong. I think I know my Jesse well enough to think this is fake, but maybe not...
