21-year-old New York singer/songwriter Jessica Ashley officially announces her partnership with L.A. Reid and Sony Music label Epic Records for the release of her upcoming debut album. Ashley is a classically trained pianist who was first discovered on Youtube and has been honing her skills as a songwriter and producer over the past few years.
Ashley began her musical career at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU and has gone on to work with the likes of Sean Garrett (Beyonce, Nicki Minaj), Willie Baker (Pink, Brandy) and Alan 'Nglish (Ce Lo, Taio Cruz). In 2012, she released her EP 'Prelude' which garnered fan and critical acclaim and led to her partnering with hit-makers Eman Kirakou (Celine Dion, Hot Chelle Rae) and Evan 'Kid' Bogart (Beyonce, Rihanna, Britney Spears). Most recently, Ashley was featured on MKTO's 'No More Second Chances' which she co-wrote with the duo. Her debut is expected in 2015.
