No. Perhaps you could argue that some individuals are, but you can't just say an entire group of people is one thing or another. (Or, in this case, ask whether or not an entire group of people is one thing or another.)
I don't think they are polygamous by nature because to many monogamy comes naturally. As humans we have egos and so desire for exclusivity and whatnot, so if polygamy is natural it would be natural to straight people too, but I think that gays (men) differ from straights because as a full sex-pool of men, who biologically are programmed to seek sex more, that this comes easier. But of course even that is a bit of a generalization.
I've always thought this has more to do with men (regardless of sexuality) being taught to be more sexually free than women, so when you get people who will reciprocate sexually with one another without second thoughts it results in promiscuity.
I would say men are naturally more sexual than women, but I'm not a woman, so I can't say if they are just as sexual too.
I don't know about polygamous but I think gays do try and follow the traditional male and female relationship too closely because there's really no set standard for what a gay relationship looks like?
It is a stereotype that is seemingly self-fulfilling, but I don't think all gays are thirsty *****s who live for the next one-night stand. There are those who just want to settle down and find it so hard due to these gays who just want their quick fix.
