Jay Z’s Made in America is going bicoastal. The music festival will take over Los Angeles and Philadelphia this August.
The Roc Nation mogul appeared on the steps of L.A. City Hall on Wednesday to make the announcement alongside L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti, Budweiser Vice President Brian Perkins, and Live Nation President and CEO Michael Rapino.
The two-day festival, which benefits United Way, will take place on August 30 and August 31 at L.A. Grand Park.
It will simultaneously be held at Ben Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia for the third year in a row.
“This was a dream to put a festival together, to have all types of music, different types of genres ’cause I believe that genres separate us,” said Jay Z.
Tickets are on sale now. A two-day pass for L.A. costs $125-185, while Philly tickets range from $100-150.
So are we assuming that Saturday acts will perform in one city and then go to the other city for Sunday or are we expecting completely different line ups. That would suck if he does my city (Philly) dirty.
I'm assuming that it'll be two different lineups. It'll be cool to see how it plays out. Maybe this is also apart of Jay & Beyonce's alleged tour, too.

I seriously hope that tour is a thing. Do you think it would come to tennessee if it was real?
