It's been confirmed that Hollywood Records IS giving Raven a first single from the album. So what should it be in YOUR opinion? FYI: Raven will be on "The Today Show" on May 19!

In my opinion, the first single NEEDS to be "Love Me or Leave Me". It'll give her respect as an artist, people already know she can sing, but she needs a single to show her maturity and how mature the album is overall. The song showcases her vocals like crazy, and it's very mainstream sounding like Ashanti's new single.

I agree on that single choice.

Yea, I think it's the best decision if she wants to have impact.

"Love Me Or Leave Me" is great but she hasn't really had a hit yet so releasing a ballad would be a bad idea.
She needs to release a catchy upbeat song first and then follow it up with one of the slower songs like "Love Me Or Leave Me", "Hollywood Life", or "Anti-Love Song".

The first single should one of these:

1. That Girl (an anthem for all the cocky chicks who got thier sh!t rite).
2. Shorts Like Me (an anthem of all big girls in American and is catchy as ****).
3. Girl, Get It (an anthem for independent woman in general).

I definately agree with "Girl Get It", and "That Girl". Im indifferent to "Shorts Like Me". But I think "LMOLM" is still the best choice for a single. But it could be a great follow up to the faster tracks.

True. It is very risky, but I have a strong feeling it would catch on for some reason.

I think that "Stupid" would be a great single
"Love Me or Leave Me" too.

I think for the summer, it HAS to be "Girl Get It". "Green" and "That Girl" would also be other good choices. A ballad after "Girl Get It", though. And thought would definitely be "Love Me or Leave Me" for the fall.

Regardless of what the single is though, it needs to come out this month!

Because "Double Dutch Bus" has already been released. It's also a cover and it is a "bonus track" and it also was promo for College Road Trip. I have a feeling they're going to end up choosing "In Your Skin". Don't ask me why, I just have a strange feeling.
