well yeah. but not in the sense that food stamps are bad or should be done away with. This was just showing a hypothetical option for a certain group of people.

I mean who really wants to have to use food stamps? this video was about raising the wages of Walmart employees in order for them to not have to use them. Which is a GREAT thing. Food stamps are a GREAT thing for people who really need them and have no other choice but it's better when people are paid more so they don't need them. Better for everybody...

But the sad part is I'm willing to bet that if they aren't getting "rich," those employees would rather take the government help rather than their wages rise to "livable."

you certainly didn't make any sense and I don't believe the video ever told anyone to buy a certain brand.

This was just an example. I'm not going to do the exact calculations for the Kraft brand but the higher the price of the original item, the higher the increase in money will be. But even then the original price for a box of Kraft Mac N Cheese is like a $1.28. I'm guessing that price would be raised to around $1.65.

If you're not willing to pay that much more for the greater good... just bye.

This was ONE example and it helped astronomically. Imagine if they upped their prices just a little bit on a lot more products.

And 40 cents is not that much when you consider all the good that will come from it.

It blew my mind when I heard about the food drive at Wal-Mart to help feed . . . their employees. I'm fortunate enough to be able to do my grocery shopping elsewhere, but that's because I live in an area with lots of options that I can afford.
