So I'm not any better at this video blogging business, but I can now ASSURE you that Danica P is officially the coolest chick on the planet...come along with us as we go to meet her for the first time...I'm surprised the planet didn't explode, there were so many SuperGirls in the room at the same time!
Speaking of SuperGirl, it's tearing up the charts! (okay, maybe tearing is an exaggeration...moderately ripping at a slightly accelerated pace, perhaps?) Thanks so much for all your support as we take on this monster industry one more time. I had kind of a moment today when my pal Neil sent me a text..he's working in Akron this week and was letting me know that SG came in as the day's number two requested song on the station he was listening to. Ever the competitive soul, I had to know what number one was, so I could figure out who I have to silence... and he told me it was the Leona Lewis song. If you guys remember, back in December I became slightly (okay, embarrasingly) obsessed with this song..it hadn't been released in the US yet, but it was playing on my Swedish MTV every morning and I absolutely loved it and just KNEW that it was gonna be a hit here in the states. At that point in time, I didn't have a lot going on and was just doing some writing...but it turned out, on the day I heard that song, I went over to my friend Mats' studio and we wrote SuperGirl...now the two songs were 1 and 2 on this radio station! I don't know if this makes any sense or if I'm just rambling, but it was just one of those small world-little me-big HIM moments...long story short, I am incredibly grateful for the blessings and opportunities life has tossed my way. Love you buddies!
