I know it's a crazy ass question, but you know how we have artists that hold a royal title for the genre they've dominated (MJ is the King of Pop, Madonna is the Queen of Pop, Arertha is the Queen of Soul,etc.), but what would it take for some to own a royal title for dominating music.

Impossible for new artists.

Just like with actual royal family's. They own the crown, and there's no way another family could become the new royal family of a country.

It's no longer possible because in music no one had the honor until it was given to MJ and Madonna. Just like Britney being the princess, the girl can retire and become amish and she'll still be the princess of pop.
