Can you think of any books/stories/fairytales which should be movies but haven't yet?

Luckily a screenplay is in development with Tim Burton attached to direct and he's the only person I could ever imagine doing this book justice as a movie Literally at the end of Hollow City (the sequel) I put the book down and was like "this **** should be a movie like right now." Could see the whole thing playing out like a movie in my head.

You can't honestly believe what you said in the first sentence can you? Think about it logically, how can the hell we choose a book that we would want as a movie if we hadn't read it? Like what would be the reasoning of someone just saying a random book name they have never read before. Why would someone who doesn't even read books in the first place come into a thread like this? Just admit when you're wrong

Back on topic I think the Discworld books would make awesome movies, but Hollywood could **** it up so easily I'd be so scared.

Also His Dark Materials should be made (properly this time).

And A Wrinkle in Time could make an awesome psychological fantasy. And Earthsea.

I would live for any of these being made into movies
