What's in your car CD player?

i hate how the ny driving age is 17

it's 17 now? It was 16 when I was younger When did this happen I feel extremely old

EDIT - NEVERMIND it hasn't changed where I got my license, which is upstate, I guess that's just the rule down here. We just couldn't drive after 9 until we were 18.

where upstate? i want to get mine early. it probably wouldnt be able to happen. but yeh. i go to the adirondacks a lot to see my cousins in lake placid

In NY State you can take your road test 6 months after you get your permit
Then you can have a junior license... You get your senior license @ 18 unless you take drivers ed or another driving course which lets you have your senior license @ 17.. I skipped Junior license and got my Senior license immediately ... it feels like just yesterday I began driving!!!

Anyway i have a 6 CD player and I have
1) Carrie Underwood - Some Hearts
2) Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway
3) Rent CD1
4) Rent CD 2
5) Britney Spears - Blackout
6) Usually empty so i can rotate Daughtry, Simple Plan, Linkin Park or a mix CD

P.S. my car lease is up at the end of May or June and I don't know what to get
I currently have a 2005 Honda CRV but the new one is butt ugly
So I'm thinking the Acura TSX... any ideas???

I don't drive yet.

But when we're in our car, my mom usually plays Amy Winehouse's album Frank.

Syracuse, but anyway, according to NYSDMV.com, the way it works is that you can DRIVE upstate with a junior license, but not in NYC or LI. You can get a junior license 6 months after your permit, which you can get the day you turn 16. You can also drive with a junior license here if you work (I think it said that) with proper documentation. But basically if you got a license upstate and came back here you still wouldn't be able to drive here, just there.
