It would make sense because Adele likes Céline Dion and her next album is supposed to be happy, and this song would relate quite well to her relationship with her boyfriend Simon Konecki, who will most likely be one of the biggest inspirations for songs on the new album.

Yeah, I noticed it wasn't originally Céline's song too and I was shocked. Regardless, though, more people will know the Céline version, so I figured I should leave it in the thread title as a Céline Dion song. Regardless, if her voice is really better than ever and she feels it's strong enough to pull that off (we all know it is, it's just a matter of whether or not she thinks it is), I swear... I can't even imagine how beautiful it would be.

NO. And I stan for ha. I love Celine but I think the song is just bland Adult Contemporary balladry. Adele needs something a bit sassier. Although I'm sure could do well with it (but the song also goes pretty high and Adele's an alto or mezzo soprano I think so she might need to adjust the key).

Her voice probably is better because she's likely stopped smoking since she's had her kid (and vocal surgery) and she probably doesn't drink much anymore either, which are all things that affect your voice.
