...I think you've been thinking about her too much. This tends to happen a lot with deceased musicians. There's no more material coming from them so their devoted fans tend to read deeper and deeper into their catalogue and notice some coincidences but in Aaliyah's case, you only mentioned two singles. It's not like she had a handful of hit soundtrack singles. F.Y.I. "Come Back In One Piece" from RMD was a single, but it wasn't a hit.

Aaliyah never got a chance to be anything amazing honestly. MAYBE she was on her way..her last album was pretty sick..but I mean..the albums before that were nothing special..she wasn't really anything special to begin with so yeahh
