The majority of fan bases are made up of either gay stans (that mostly stan for pop gurls) and white girl fan bases (that mostly stan for artists like 1D, Bieber etc)
Gay stans are known and typically worry about the business side of their faves career like how many albums they sell, single sales, promo etc
while the white gurls are all in their faves personal life. Beliebers and Directioners are widely known for sending death threats and having online meltdowns over any one of the opposite sex hanging out with their faves.
So who would be more annoying? Having stans worry about your sales more than you worry about it *side eyes the little managers

or having obsessive fans that want you to stay single forever and attempt to scare off any one you show interest in?
I'm generalising here i'm aware not all stans act the same so keep that in mind!
