K-pop stars are getting ready for their close-up -- with Tyra Banks. Girl group 2NE1 and boy band BTOB reportedly slated to appear on the supermodel's long-running "America's Next Top Model" series, currently filming its upcoming season's finale in Seoul, South Korea.
2NE1's record label YG Entertainment reported the quintet was asked to appear as guests for the season finale. The news follows 2NE1 appearing on an episode of "The Bachelor" in January.
2NE1 has made waves not only for their music -- via their recent record-breaking album and will.i.am collaborations -- but also for their funky-fierce style. The group's leader CL is a regular at New York Fashion Week, while designer Jeremy Scott calls the Korean phenoms his muses. The designer's influence was noticeably present in the girls' recent video for new song "Happy."
