For the new album, she's doing what she feels like doing and we're supporting her. You hear a lot of growth in her music. She's coming confident and hard. We expect for this to be one of the biggest [albums] from her. It's more rap. This album is going to have a little bit of everything but more rap. I am sure some of the team will be on it. She's still doing her thing, then getting features on it. She's definitely coming this year. She hasn't picked a date yet. What she did for Young Money is totally different then what she's doing for her album. She's more girly-er. 'Tha Carter V' will definitely come before Nicki's [album].
yeah, this lines up with what i had expected from the album tbh. i never thought we were getting a record of top to bottom LAN incarnates. But thats not a bad thing to me. Balance can make an album stronger and more interesting. As long as the flow and lyrics are on point, and the song has something interesting to say, then Im usually satisfied.
Tha Carter V already had a release date of May 5th, so...
I know that Wayne's manager is now being very foggy about the release date now and we might not get it until later. Idk.
But who knows when will Wayne release. If he releases in June, then Nicki would have to release in July. If Weezy releases in July, Nicki would have to release in August.
And when has she ever not been diverse? The people who thought just because she said it'll be more Hip-Hop that the album will only contain LANs and BABs
