I thought this thread was going to be about something else judging by the title.
Anyway, currently: American Dad, though Seth doesn't actually do much on that show aside from the voice work. The writing is done entirely by other people.
Family Guy was better in its prime, but now it's just meh.
American Dad has been the most consistent and is much smarter than Family Guy most of the time. The satire angle works a bit better than the mostly pop culture-fueled humor of FG. FG was really fantastic for a while, then got really ******, then got abysmal, but actually in the last few years has improved a lot. Cleveland has had its moments, but I can see why it has been canceled. It was really just like the poor man's FG with less entertaining characters.

I agree with this text, though I still consider FG over AD. I can't believe I didn't like AD at first
