We don't have cable at the moment and I've been feeling left behind, so is getting a season pass for my favorite shows on itunes a good idea or a waste of money because of *******s, free sites etc..

I manly want seasons passes for
'Bates Motel S2'
'The Americans S2'
and later this year 'American Horror Story: Freak Show' and 'The Walking Dead S5'

ALSO, anyone tried both the SD and HD? is it worth the price difference?

Only for shows that aren't on Blu-ray or I can't find for free in at least 720p. I had to buy season 4 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta because they're the only place it's available in HD (except like Amazon but Amazon doesn't let you download the actual files). I download it in 1080p from iTunes and the quality still isn't that great. iTunes isn't really good for HD media since they compress it so much. I'm picky with the quality of my shows/movies (I always get 1080p if possible) but I have a Retina MacBook Pro so I'm not going to watch no 480p ****

If I were you I'd just illegally download those shows because you could easily find them in 720p. iTunes shows are expensive as hell.
