This is not saving the world. It is making political figures around the world feel better about themselves and to make them look good. In reality, this is doing absolutely nothing to save the world.
There is no doubt that global warming is occuring but it is just because it is a regular cycle of the earth's climate. There has been a time in the Earth's history a really long time ago where the climate was even worse than it is predicted to be in the near future and extended future and humans survived it. And that was without any technology we have today. I don't buy into this saving the world tonight and I feel like leaving an extra light or two on to as my protest.
