Sampled Yodeling? WTH?
Apart is better than 99% of Shakira's music, and Brandy was for sure not checking for her in 2000-2001 when she recorded that song. Either way, at that point Shakira was local to Spanish-Speakers, and wasn't "iconic" in the slightest.
