MiMi****ingLamb.
Yes, I'm one of those people. Those people that have generic ass names.
As you may have guessed, my name is a combination of Mariah's nickname, MiMi, + Lamb, what she calls her fans.
The Story: MiMiLamb and I go back like babies and pacifiers. This was back when my love for Mariah was at an all time high and I had just entered standom. I used it on the first forum I frequented, forum.bodybuilding.com. I didn't put much thought into my name because my head was delirious with whistle notes from Emotions, available on iTunes, and I didn't know how to identify myself aside from my love for Mariah.
I just went with what felt natural: MiMiLamb.
Basic, uninspired and messy. My username game was so off back then that if I had put more thought into it, I would've ended up putting hearts in it! But, I have an emotional bond with the name. It signifies the time of my life where I started to discover who I really was.
I identified with this name on a lot of websites, ATRL included. The name MiMiLamb is the Woody to my Andy. It will always be a part of me.

Meet the ATRL community. There will never be a day where you won't laugh or at least smile on ATRL. Members here are FUNNY! They come up with most creative and silliest threads and posts. Memes such as "looking 16", ridiculous titles such as "Fashion Icon Rita Ora", hilarious .GIFs and image edits such as gaycats and blinds.
ATRL has a wide variety of stanbases ranging from the major pop girls to the "indie" artists, from video game stans to film stans. ATRL has become more than a pop music forum.
Overall, the ATRL community is a fun, diverse bunch. There is a comradery between members and the cat fights are reminiscent of those from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Emotions can run high. The board is fast paced with thousands of different active members to interact with. The ATRL community is everything a pop culture forum could ask for.
If you don't want to get banned, follow the rules. Simple as that.
Make your posts look presentable. Avoid those pixelated avatars and unpleasant signatures. Get a well made avatar (you can request one to be made here), prepare a clean signature and maybe change your user title. You can also choose to leave those blank! Sometimes less is more.
If you're planning on customizing your font, pick a color and/or font that's easy on the eyes.
ATRL is not for the weak. Unless if you plan on only using Your Top Ten, you will need to grow thicker skin if you already haven't. With that said, ATRL has a plethora of positive, laid back members and places where you can unwind if you choose to escape the mess.
Don't be too discouraged if you get dragged or if many people disagree with something you said. It happens to everyone. The most iconic and beloved members have been dragged to hell and back at one point. Don't take anything too seriously and enjoy yourself.
Too many new members make the mistake of trying too hard to be iconic. Don't be that member. If you want to stand out, bring something new to the table. Be different, be funny, be witty, but don't be obnoxious.
ATRL is an experience. You will encounter many different people, some outrageous, some optimistic. You will learn different lingo, slang and crafty new ways to drag and shade. There is no place else like ATRL. Enjoy your stay.
