I don't understand why my laptop is appearing on my Playstation (under the video section as *My name*-Vaio). Also - I just went on Network on my laptop and saw all the other laptops in my house under it. I'm assuming I also appear on the other's too. Is there no way I can stop myself from appearing there? I have Windows 7. I'm not a member of any Home Group. so I'm confused.

Maybe it's because you are connected to the same network that your laptop is connected.

It's because they're both connected to the same network. You can block the connection between them with a firewall

We do use the same WIFI???

I don't think my laptop has sharing turned on. How do I check this?
