Why is Woody Allen still praised and revered as a genius despite his numerous rape accusations while R. Kelly lost his career/reputation? It seems like people just ignore Woody's accusations which are just as bad as Kelly's(he molested his own daughter) and condemn R Kelly worse.
I actually agree with OP.. woddy is still consideret movie genious, while R kelly is ignored... tbh Woody should be ignored too, since he is as gross as R Kelly, for the love of God he has married his stepdoughter

The only difference is R Kelly went through a court case where he blatantly lied (getting away with it anyway on a technicality). Many people don't even know or care about that.
Maybe because there is more evidence that shows that R Kelly is a pervert. The marriage to Aaliyah and that sex tape show he's a pervert. With Woody Allen, there are only accusations from what I know. I d't think there is much evidence. Also, like many here have stated, the fact that Woody Allen is white kind of helps him get a pass.
