i think that its a wonderful idea nonetheless. Native americans had thier land raped and taken away from them. No reason that they can't have a lil chunck of it back. Besides who the hell lives out there anyway?

When they say state, they mean country. State is another word for nation - the US is the only country that refers to its regions as states - as they were once all independent and came together to form one country (United States...)
If this actualy happens at all, Lakotah Republic will be a nation (state).
