I played the first one. Was very good, but the auction house killed it for me.

I already have a level 60 Demon Hunter, leveling a monk now as well. The new patch itself already makes the game much better as is. I'm glad Blizzard swallowed its pride to completely overhaul the game into a acceptable diablo game after all

A few of the changes are indeed the removal of the AH, but also a much better loot system, better dynamic difficulty system where you don't need to run the same storyline 4 times, etc.
The game is completely different now.

I got lvl 60 Wizrd in Hardcore(which 1 kill=gameover)

I got Diablo 3 last Thursday and got the preorder for RoS with it. I was completely addicted for a few days and have 3 level 60 characters and working on a 4th. I think I'm still pretty bad at the game.

What the ****? Sooooo short. I kept bumping up the difficulty, but beat the entire game in an hour or two.

the boss is really hard.
