Does the banning and warning point system on ATRL actually work? It just dawned on me that this is more of a day care/preschool type of situation. Unless you're permabanned, you just do something bad to be messy and fun, you get your few weeks - few months banned, then you come back and do the same thing all over again. It's not like the banning system helps people to grow up and make better choices. People just come back and do the same thing again and again, so I'm starting to think, what's the point?
No. They should make it so that if you get banned enough times then it will lead to a permaban. Like, you get 5 chances after being banned to clean yourself up and if you can't do it then you get permabanned
ive been banned twice and apparently working on a third. i only use when im at work bored. so i dont really care.
but most the time im just being silly this site is so uptight , it is like grade school all over
It works, it gives me a reprieve from a lot of members I don't like (eg. one of my FAVORITE fellow monsters is currently finishing up their 4-month vacation ).
It also keeps me in check a bit-- I know to cool it down around 8-9 points. I've actually been pretty classy lately, only 2 WPs
