Second of all, Wikipedia isn't always official. My source is more reliable. Oh my, maybe the fact that it comes from Jesse himself or his mangement? Oh so reliable.
Just kidding. I'm sure a Jesse fan edited that page when it was released today.
But yeah, this JMPT is more reliable than anything. According to them (JMPT = Jesse McCartney Promotion Team (on Myspace and Facebook), they get their news straight from his management.
I have them as a friend on my Myspace so yipee.

Just looked at it and it's WRONG. Or at least it has to be :-\. He said in a performance that his album was coming out in April NOT May. And there is more rumors saying it might be pushed forward to the end of March.
