Late last year Jessica Simpson started to work on her DEBUT country album and sixth studio album of her career. Jessica who has been recording in a studio in Nashville hit New York City on Wednesday to talk with her record company president, Charlie Walk, about the current status of the CD. Later that day she met up with FOXNews.com and told them that she's meeting with none other than Queen of Country Dolly Parton next week about doing a duet on the album. Jessica's a huge fan of Dolly and if you remember in December 2006 during a tribute performance to Dolly she got very emotional! Jessica's also working with famous writer/producer John Shanks. I'm excited about this! I'm a fan of Jessica's music, i love her pop-style music and i'm curious to listen now to her country side.

I wouldn't say A Public Affair was a flop These Boots Are Made For Walkin' & A Public Affair both made the US top 20. And Top 20 in the UK.
