Why not compare him to Stalin? if I'm not mistaken, Stalin also invaded other countries, had absolute power and a cult of personality, trampled human rights and was responsible for genocides... so why compare him to German Hitler when they could be comparing him to another Russian? Hitler is a far more recognized figure..... and honestly I 100% agree with the comparison. Putin, as a popularly elected official that has grown into a defacto dictator, is far more similar to Hitler than Stalin outside of their nationality.

The comparison to Hitler is FAR more accurate. During the early years before the War Hitler used the excuse of protecting and claiming German peoples in other nations to invade Austria and Poland. EXACTLY what Putin is doing now.
