Let the countdown begin! Joining an already killer lineup with the likes of Childish Gambino and the 1975, Australian rap sensation Iggy Azalea is officially headed to Austin to perform at the 2014 mtvU Woodie Awards.
Azalea, who is up for Best Video Woodie, will perform her hit "Fancy" along with special guest Charli XCX. Sam Smith, American Authors, London Grammar and Wild Cub are all slated to grace the Woodies stage at the "2014 mtvU Woodie Awards Festival," which starts at 3:00 p.m. on March 13 and will lead into the awards portion of the evening.
"We are massively excited to be involved with the Woodies this year. Not only because of the incredible list of bands that has preceded us, but because of the amazingly talented people we'll share the stage with this year," said Wild Cub singer/guitarist Keegan DeWitt. "It's a total honor to be part of that and we're looking forward to it."
The open-air mtvU Woodie Award Festival show will kick off this year's Woodie action during the South By Southwest festival on March 13, with performances from up-and-coming rapper Vic Mensa and the live debut from Fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff's side project, Bleachers.
