Self-explanatory thread title. For those of you who have already come out, do you ever miss being in the closet? If so, why? For those ATRLers who are still in the closet or are straight, feel free to jump in

Well I'm still in the closet in real life but I've told a few people and I don't really miss it.

Sometimes, being in the closet can be a lot of fun because when you hook up with other closeted people it feels like this really naughty secret. It's like you're a part of a secret club that no one has any idea about, especially girls (which is the best part).

I did not feel the difference between being in the closet and being out, tbh.

Yeah I was thinking about that. For me, when I was still closeted, I had the hottest interactions with guys. The stories I could tell... But now that I'm out, guys are much more wary of doing those kinds of things around me (perhaps it's because I've gotten a biT older, but still, I miss it )

Definitely not. Being in the closet I was depressed and always trying to shut down rumors about me being gay. I'm much happier now that I can completely be myself

I've overall been in a better place since I came out. It was such a weight off my shoulders and the feeling after was so great. Don't miss the closet at all.
