The bad this about Esmee is there is nothing special about her voice. She's a nice singer but that's about it. Her voice is so plain compared to some of her peers like JoJo, Demi, Jessica Sanchez. She doesn't really emote to the music kinda like Ariana but unlike Ariana she doesn't have the range. I really liked her a few years ago and her album had nice production but her voice got buried by the beats. But I liked this cover and hope she can find success

I disagree that her voice is just regular. She might not have a big vocal range but that does not mean that her voice isn't special. She has one big gift and that's her vocal tone. She had so many views because of her outstanding vocal tone. JoJo, Demi nor Jessica Sanchez have such a beautiful vocal tone in comparison to hers. Especially Demi's vocal tone is super annoying, she has some range tho. I highely prefer tone over range.

Out of all the white girls, I think Tori Kelly and she have the best vocal tones.

She btw is an independent artist right now. She could've had a career in the UK so this is sad. She will fade in the background now and we will remember her as a one hit wonder.
