I agree. Terminal illness - yes. Depression or something similar? No, they should be given help to deal with that.

I think it really depends on whether that person is of sound mind and what their situation is. I suppose if it's someone with a terminal, painful illness who wishes to die early and is perfectly sane, that should be ok. But if it's someone with an illness like depression, they're of course not in the state of mind to be able to think clearly and euthanasia should never be considered.

It's their life. Let them do what they want with it.

Also this may be controversial, but someone's who a complete vegetable and only living because of machines - it should be up to the family to decide, since it isn't fair for someone to be forced to live like that for years since they can't make the decision their self.

I think people should legally be allowed to kill themselves and do so without pain and traumatising others in the process, but there needs to be some sort of legal process in advance that minimises exploitation of it. i.e. someone has to sign something while they are sound of body and mind, and are given the opportunity to opt out come d-day (again, if they're sound of body and mind).

It depends. But it's ultimately the person's decision to end their life or not. I'd only say otherwise if the person was mentally inept in some shape or form

Yes. I think it's shameful how our culture is so appalled by the idea of assisted suicide in general. People with terminal illness should be allowed to control their passing WITHOUT BEING JUDGED.

I am completely in favor of voluntary euthanasia. A person with a terminal illness should be afforded the right to end their suffering.
