Yes, if they had a good personality and were able to make me laugh, i would slowly fall for them. I currently met this guy who is not really that attractive, his teeth are horrible and he is short as ****, but our chemistry together is amazing. I feel myself falling for him every time we talk as friends.
I don't think anyone ends up (by choice) with someone they truly find ugly. Perhaps other people find them ugly, but surely there had to be something attractive about them in your eyes, at least when you met.
isnt beauty is defined different for everyone. Plus don't they say most people date people who are around their level in terms of attractiveness. I doubt one would really call theme selves ugly, and in return their lover ugly.

Yeah, even if somebody isn't physically attractive, they can become attractive to you over time if you fall in love with their personality. Even if their actual looks don't change, the way you look at them can change.
Ugliness can manifest itself in so many ways. There are people that I think were cute (appearance wise) but once you get to know them they become hideously ugly.
