The first time you heard Lana Del Rey's so called snippet of the song on youtube, weren't you excited? The first verse and pre-chorus gave ME life. Then another snippet came out, and fans were making it into a real song, it sounded so legit to me. When the real thing came out, I was slayed by the bridge/middle-8. THE LYRICS. CONTRAST. THE VOCALS.

This is the song she opened up every single night on her Paradise Tour and sang the notes truly every night on the tour.

Lana herself even said that this was supposed to be the next single/video.

What happened in your opinion? Do you wish it was a single from hers or at least a video from her for this song?

I mean, it is controversial itself because of the first line of the song, my friends love the song because of the melody arrangement itself, the bridge/middle-8 which is LIFE.

Omg I know how you feel. Like, when the fans together the snippets, I did not expect ANYTHING else from the song. And when I heard the official song, the note she hit on the bridge. I literally died. DIED. Was not expecting that, it slays, fits the song, the notes on the bridge are EVERYTHING.

If it was Born To Die, before Paradise, yes, IMO, Dark Paradise slays, it is my guilty pleasure.
But American, the GP would **** it out. Lana herself... singing about being American... not really a good move, unfortunately for her... I love the song A LOT though.
