she's obvoiusly referring to the homophobic law and the beatings of ***** riot and anyone who stands against putin. i have friends who came to my country because they couldn't stay in russia because all the elections were rigged and they had no voice of their own and couldn't do what they wanted. i heard the stories so i know it's real. i'm sick of these know-alls saying there is way less wrong in russia as the media puts it, just to have another opinion. NO. there ARE problems in that country! especially with freedom of speech and anti gay laws: the exact issues madonna always speaks out about! so she should stay quiet? why?
