Video Clip: Emotional breakdown of harassed black man by Police

It shows a man who, according to the person recording the video, was pulled off of a bus in the Bronx by police. He's seated on a low wall, and two cops are questioning him, while holding onto his chest. He protests that he has a bus ticket and an ID, and that he has been stopped for no reason. (The cameraman says this is true, for what it's worth.)

The man grows more and more upset that the police refuse to take their hands off him. Eventually, he tries to stand up. More cops appear, and he is tackled to the ground, protesting his innocence the entire time.

One can argue about what may have happened before the video began, or that the man should not have tried to stand up. But what is undeniable is the raw psychological pain of a man who just wanted to ride the bus, and has now been pushed past the limit of what he can tolerate.

The video is painful to watch. How many incidents of police harassment had to happen in the past for this man to reach his breaking point on that Bronx sidewalk?

He might not have done anything, but he was stupid to be creating a fuss and being physically defensive. The police were just holding him down, not attacking him. Police are stupid sometimes, but you still have to cooperate.

If this happened anywhere else in the world things will heat up pretty much fast and a riot against the police will happen. The police state there is just..... Apartheid (spelling)

Physically defensive would mean that he would attack the police back. The guy just sat there asking him why hes holding him

He was cooperative for as long as any human being would be. Showed them his ID, showed them his ticket and that short ass cop bitch still held on to him for quite a while. They literally arrested him for NOTHING.

He better sue.

This is absolutely disgusting. The man was doing nothing wrong and can leave unless he was caught doing something or is suspected of a crime. He said he got off the bus and they automatically approached him. What crime could he have committed that wouldn't have been witnessed by the fellow passengers? None. Yet all you hear is him being defended.
