Britney: No show, New fiance & Friendship with Paris

Britney Spears failed to attend her court-ordered deposition , complaining of "high anxiety".
The 'Gimme More' singer, who was due to undergo questioning by ex-husband Kevin Federline's lawyers in the custody battle for their sons, felt too "sick" to be interviewed.
Kevin's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan said: "I was told of a general medical condition, and Britney Spears felt she couldn't attend.
"She's going to show at a later date, but we don't waive any rights to ask for certain relief from the court as a result of having a court-ordered deposition not attended."
Britney's friend-and-assistant Sam Lufti claims the singer was distressed by the media attention surrounding her court appearance.
He said: "She is sick, both physically and high anxiety. There are millions of people outside. It's too much."
A new date for Britney's deposition has been chosen, but not been revealed.
Her questioning, which isn't expected to last longer than a day, is set to address her alleged drug use, her failure to follow court orders and her capabilities as a mother.

“Kevin has forbidden Britney from having Sam around the boys,” the source adds. Spears and Federline are currently involved in a bitter custody battle for their sons. The ‘Gimme More’ singer currently has visitation rights only.
“She’ll lose custody is she allows Sam around them, Kevin will make sure of it,” the source adds.

The 'Gimme More' singer, who fell out with Paris at Britney's 26th birthday celebrations ,sent the hotel heiress a letter warning her she has an X-rated tape of Paris.
In the letter, she tells Paris - whose 2004 home-made sex tape 'One Night in Paris' was originally posted on the internet by ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon - the footage will be made public unless she treats her friends better.
A source said: "Britney and her pals wrote to Paris and told her they are hearing rumours of a new sex-tape scandal. "The letter also claims the tape shows footage of Paris locking lips with one of Britney's female friends at a party. "It warns Paris that if she continues being rude to people, the footage will be leaked online."
The note ended with Britney and her friends telling Paris they look forward to hearing back from her. The pair are said to have fallen out at Britney's birthday bash after Paris snubbed her.
A source revealed to Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "It's obvious Britney and her bratty pals are being silly. Paris laughed when she got the letter, supposedly from Britney and said it was 'c**p.' "
